This 160 acre weekend retreat and hunting preserve is located in rural southern Missouri. The client requested a low maintenance landscape comprised of all plants indigenous to Missouri.
An enhanced native prairie aesthetic was employed throughout the acreage creating an appropriate sense of permanency. Visitors will be welcomed with borders of rebud, sumac, and upland native flowers. A series of outdoor spaces are being planned from the blufftop which overlook acres of conservation grasses. Distant porch views are enhanced with flowering trees and shrubs, further enhancing a timeless evening sunset.
